QVA agree to participate in FIVB World Challenge league
DOHA, September 10, 2017 – Qatar Volleyball Association's Board has approved that Qatar volleyball team will participate in the upcoming FIVB World Challenge League in 2018.
Last week, the QVA received an invitation from FIVB to participate in the newly developed tournament. Team Qatar has been chosen for this event based on its outstanding performance showed at the outgoing Asian qualifications for world championship.
The FIVB World Challenge league will bring together 20 teams shall be distributed into five groups. Heavyweight teams including Japan, China, South Korea, Egypt, Germany, Slovenia, Australia and Argentina.
