DOHA, November 05, 2017 – The competitions of the prestigious Asian Junior Under 14 Tennis Tournament 2017 organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton were successfully concluded at the Khalifa International Complex on Friday.
In the event's final result, player Teem Al-Zamah claimed the gold medal in single event, while the silver medal went to Qatar's Rashid Nawaf.
On the same track of victory, the Syrian duo, Oss Abo Hassoon and Tim Al Azamah seized the gold medal in the double event, while Japanese duo Kayita Vokshima and Tokomi Chimamgry took the silver medal.
In the women's single event, Lebanese Maria Al Baridi won the gold medal and Alia Abass took the silver medal. While in the double event, the duo Maria Al Baridi and British Andara Sotherland claimed the gold medal , while the Qatari sisters Amna and Sara Al Qayeed clinched the second place.
At the victory ceremony, Mr. Saad Al Mohannadi, the Executive Chief of Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSB) and Sultan Khalfan, director of local championships honored the winners in a festive sport scene.
