QOA Course on Arts of Dealing with Sport Media gets underway
DOHA, November 06, 2017 – The second version of the course titled “ Arts of Dealing with Sport Media Outlets" organized by the Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) got underway at QOA Headquarters on Sunday.
The five-day long course is organized by the QOA in collaboration with (AIPS), Association international de la presse sportive and Arab Sports Press Association (ASPA).
Addressing the opening session on Sunday, the QOA's Executive Director, Saif Al Nuaimi, welcomed the key lecturer and trainees, confirmed the values of this course in serving all trainees to deal with media outlets.
The course is bringing together a number of athletes and sport officials who are working in the sport federations and sectors. The key lecturer in the course is Mr. Raed Abed, a senior broadcaster in the BeIn Sports group along with a number of elite journalists from different sport media institutions in Qatar.
It is worth mentioning that QOA's first version of the course on the same topic was held from 15-19 October at the QOA building and received overwhelming response and got a considerable success.
