Sharapova to participate in Qatar Total Open
DOHA, January 24, 2018-The Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova will participate in the 2018 Qatar Total Open to be held at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex from February 12-18.
Secretary-General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Tariq Al Zainal said that the top 10 players who confirmed their participation are Simona Halep, Caroline Wozniacki, Garbine Muguruza, Elina Svitolina, Venus Williams, Karolina Pliskova, Jelena Ostapenko, Caroline Garcia, Johanna Konta, and Coco Vandeweghe.
Director of the competition Saad Al Mohannadi said that the organizing committee is ready to host one of the strongest tournaments in the region for women's tennis.
