Qatar team win seventh place in Asian Squash Championship
SOUTH, KOREA, March 26, 2018 – Qatar team claimed the seventh place overall in the prestigious 19th Asian Squash Team Championships took place in South Korea.
Qatar team took the seventh place, after defeating Japanese counterparts 2-0. The national team was represented by Abdullah Al Tamimi and Said Azlan.
Qatar team began its campaign in the prestigious event on high note , securing 2-1 victory over Jordan. In the second round, Qatar outclassed Chinese counterparts 3-0 to reach the last eight stage.
In the last eight stage, Qatari team suffered 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Malaysian team.
