Mubaraka Al-Naimi qualifies to second round of Qatar ITF Junior Open 2018

DOHA, March 28, 2018-Qatar's Mubaraka Al-Naimi qualified to the second round of doubles event at the 2^nd Qatar ITF Junior Open.

The event is organized by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation until March 31, 2018.

Mubaraka Al-Naimi teamed up with Lola Marandel of France to beat Nour Dib 0f Lebanon and Mahin Qureshi of Pakistan 1-6 6-3 [10-7] and secure their spot in the second round where they will take on Na Dong of China and Lilly Elida Haseth of Norway.

In boys' event, Mann Shah of India edged past Rayane Alami of Qatar to reach the second round. Rahul Jaideep of India also qualified to the second round following his 6-0 3-6 7-6(1) victory over Mubarak Al-Sulaiti of Qatar.

The event brings together young tennis players from Italy, Estonia, India, China, and Hosts Qatar.

Rayyan Al Jefairi, Ghanim Al Khelaifi, Mubarak Al Sulaiti, Hamad Al Mohannadi and Mubaraka Al Naimi are representing the state of Qatar in this tournament.
