QOC President awards the winners at Arabian Camel Festival
DOHA, April 19, 2018 - HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, President of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) crowned the top winners of main races of HH the Emir Cup at the Arabian Camel Festival held at Al Shahaniya Racetrack on Wednesday.
In Wednesday competitions, Shafla camel owned by Rashid Nasser Al Marri confidently won the first race , while camel “ Silver Dagger” owned by Traiheeb Hamad Al Hajiri claimed the second race victory.
The hugely popular event will continue on Thursday where fans and owners are due to see strong competitions between the top Arabian camels at the same venue.
