Qatar bowling team ready for Asian Games
Doha, May 24, 2018 - Secretary General of the Qatar Bowling Federation, Ahmed Shaheen stressed that 2018/2019 calendar features many participations most notably the Asian Games 2018 in August.
The Secretary-General of the Qatar Bowling Federation said that there are many participations for the Qatari teams in the regional, continental and international tournaments.
The team will be represented in the Asian Games by 6 players in masters competitions, he added.
He said that the Qatar team are currently participating in the competitions of Ramadan organized by the Federation with the participation of 18 players in level A and 56 players in level (b).
He added that the Qatari team will participate in June in the Madrid International Championship to be the best preparation for the masters. The most prominent players of the team include Jassim Al-Muraikhi, Ghanim Bujsoum, Mohammed Hamad Al-Muraikhi, Ali Al-Jenahi, Ahmed Al-Diab and Nasser Al-Sahooti, who are expected to achieve honorable results for bowling in Qatar.
The Secretary General of the Bowling Federation, said that one of the most prestigious tournaments that Qatar will participate in this year is world championship in US , which will be held after the Asian Games.
