Mexico defeat Qatar in Toulon Football Championship
DOHA, May 27 , 2018 – Qatar's Under 19 football team suffered a shock defeat 4-1 at the hands of Mexico in the opening match of Toulon International Football Championship 2018 held in Toulon city, France on Saturday.
The Qatari side not lived-up to expectations, showed a poor performance and made many mistakes in the opening minutes of the game.
The Junior team participation in Toulon Championship comes in the light of its training program in preparation for the upcoming AFC Under 19 football Championship will take place from 18 October to November 4 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In Toulon championship, Qatar is pooled in group A alongside Mexico, China and England.
