Al Attiyah and Al Marri sparkle in Nishaan Shooting Championship
DOHA, May 29, 2018 - Shooters Khalifa Al Attiyah and Badr Al Marri made impressive performance to lead the Shotgun, rifle 50m and pistol 25m categories on Monday in the prestigious Nishaan Shooting Championship taking place at Losail Ranges, in Doha.
Al Attiyah led the professional category collected 372 points, Musfer Al Marri managed in the second place and Mohammed Al Yafe finished third.
Likewise, Badr Al Marri confidently led the amateur category with 340 points ahead of Rashid Al Nahdi in the second place and Henan Masrovic clinched the third place.
The championship is organized by the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association (QSAA) where 120 shooters (men and women) are competing in Rifle, shotgun and pistol events.
The first place winner in professional category will get prize money of QR 60,000, the runner-up will gain QR 50,000 , the third place winner will take QR 40,000, likewise the top three winners in amateur category will get the same prize money.
