Qatar basketball team to take on Philippines in World Cup Qualifiers
DOHA, February 21, 2019-The Qatari basketball team will take on Philippines in the FIBA Basketball World Cup Asian Qualifiers in Doha on Thursday.
The Qatari team will play their last match in the qualifiers on February 24 against Japan in Doha.
The Qatari squad includes Abdulrahman Ramadan, Khalid Sulaiman, Joy Tala, Khalid Mohammad Rushdi, Faris Andeck, Abdulrahman Al Muftah, Mansour Al Hadari, Amer Mojeck, Malik Salim, Ahmad Yousef Al Darwish, Erfan Saeed, Mostafa Essam, Nasser Al Rayes, Babenkar Diang, Mohammad Yousef and Nadim Mozlic.
Philippines national team arrived in Doha four days ago as they aim at occupying third place in the group behind leaders Australia and Iran.
