Stage set for ITTF World Tour Qatar Open
DOHA, February 24, 2019- The organizing committee of the ITTF World Tour Qatar Open 2019 held its second meeting under the leadership of Khalil Al Mohannadi on Saturday.
The meeting discussed the latest arrangements for the event to be held at Ali bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena in from March 26 to 31, 2019.
The Chairman of organizing committee Khaleel Al Mohanndi stressed that the Qatar Table Tennis Association will hold an exceptional edition this year as Doha will also host the meetings of athletes committee and referees committee in addition another meeting for the countries to host the remaining rounds of ITTF World Tour.
In 2018, the state of Qatar hosted the second round of the ITTF world tour in March. The event featured the participation of 220 players from 43 countries.
