Presidents of GCC National Olympic Committees to meet on Tuesday
Muscat, April 9, 2019-The 31st meeting of the Council of Presidents of GCC National Olympic Committees will be held in Muscat, Oman on Tuesday.
The meeting will discuss the recommendations of executive board of the Council of Presidents of GCC National Olympic Committees and representatives of the GCC organizing committees.
The meeting will also discuss the results of the meetings held on the last two days with attendance of representatives of GCC Olympic Committees and GCC Organizing Committees.
The 15th joint meeting of the executive board with the chairmen and representatives of GCC Games Organizing Committees was held on Monday with attendance of HE Mr. Jassim bin Rashed Al Buenain, Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee.
On the other hand, the Executive Board Members of the Council of Presidents of GCC Olympic Committees met with Mr. Hussain Al Musallam, Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia.
Mr. Taha al Kishry, Secretary General of the Oman Olympic Committee welcomed the distinguished guest and stressed that the meeting will help to enhance the sports and Olympic movement in the GCC countries.
