Al Sadd Win HH the Amir's Beach Volleyball Cup
Doha, May 26, 2019 (QNA) - Al Sadd (B) won HH the Amir's Beach Volleyball Cup after beating Al Shamal 2-1 in the final match held at Al Gharafa Club on Saturday.
Chairman of Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari handed Al Sadd team the trophy and gold medals. He also gave Al Shamal players the silver medals. Al Khor ranked third after they beat Al Gharafa in the third position determining match.
20 teams representing 10 Qatari clubs participated in the tournament.
In a statement after the end of the game, Ali Ghanem Al Kuwari expressed his satisfaction with the level of the tournament and the clubs which participated in it, pointing that the QVA was keen to spare the players of the Qatari First Beach Volleyball team, due to their participation in international tournaments.
