QOC awarded ISO Certifications for IMS and Information Security Management System
DOHA, May 28, 2019 - The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has been re-awarded top certifications for its Integrated Management Systems IMS and Information Security Management System Quality management system, environmental management system and professional health management system after received the same certification in 2015.
An IMS certification is a quality system that improves the process and service quality in a company and thus leads to increased efficiency within the system.
The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) based on its vision is committed to achieve sport sustainable development through constant planning and coordination to meet the needs of its customers in compliance with legal and organizational requirements of IMS.
IMS certification aims to have as common management system requirements and is intended to be used as a framework for implementing two or more management system standards in an integrated way.
In the same context of achievement, the Qatar Olympic Committee re-awarded ISO certification for Information Security Management System for the second time.
The QOC received its first award of Information Security Management System in 2013 based on the old system, then renewed it in 2015 with new criteria, reflecting development of its networks and digital works.
