Qatar Continues Winning Start in Asian Beach Handball Championship
WEIHAI, June 18, 2019 - Qatar's beach handball team continued their winning start to the 7th Asian Beach Handball Championship in China, which is also a qualifier for the Beach Handball World Championships 2020 in Italy.
The team recorded their third consecutive win, a 2-0 victory this time against Afghanistan.
This was the third game for Qatar in Group A, which includes Vietnam, Chinese Taipei, and Indonesia. The Qatari team won the first two matches against The Philippines and Indonesia, all with the same score of 2-0.
Qatar had won the previous four editions of the competition, the last of which was in 2017 when they defeated Oman in the final.
