Qatar beach volleyball team claim fourth place in world ranking
DOHA, July 16, 2019-Qatar's national beach volleyball team including Cherif Younousse and Ahmad Tijan took the fourth place in the FIVB world ranking issued yesterday.
The Qatari team collected 5120 points after participating in a huge of number international and continental tournaments.
Christian Sorum and Anders Mol of Norway led the standings with 7600 points ahead of Russia's Krasilnikov/Stoyanovskiy in the second place and Poland's Bryl/Fijalek in the third place.
President of the Qatar Volleyball Association Ali Ghanim Al Kuwari thanked the QOC president HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani and the QOC Secretary General HE Mr. Jassim Rashed Al Buenain for their support to the Qatari volleyball.
