Qatar to take on Hong Kong in Asian qualifiers opener
Doha, August 19, 2019-The Qatari handball team will begin their campaign in Asian men's qualification tournament for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, with a match against Hong Kong on October 17.
The Asian Handball Association (AHF) announced the match schedule of the qualification tournament which will be held in Doha from October 17 to 26.
In their second match, Qatar will take on India on October 19 before facing Saudi Arabia on October 21.
For the second time in a row, Qatar will host the men's handball qualification tournament for the Olympic Games.
The hosts Qatar are placed in group A alongside Saudi Arabia, India and Hong Kong, while Group B includes Bahrain, South Korea, Iran and Kuwait.
