QOA workshop on standards of media coverage for Major Sport Events concludes
DOHA, December 8, 2019 – The Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) in cooperation with the Qatar Sports Press Committee (QSPC) has concluded a four day workshop on standards of media coverage for sport events held on the sidelines of the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup from 2-5 December in Doha.
The course key speakers, Mohammed Jaffal, Deputy Director of BeIN Sports Channels and Dr. Mohammed Al Saadi, media expert delivered vital lectures that focused on introduction to standards of media coverage during major sport events, the impact of world media channels in the events and the role of social media in the success of major sports events.
The four day - workshop brought together more than 38 journalists and media representatives from different GCC countries who are now attending the competitions of Arabian Gulf Cup in Doha.
On the course's closing day, Mr. Mubarak Al Boainin, the member of QSPC and Mrs Maha Al Emmadi, Head of supporting services section handed over the appreciation certificates to the participants respectively.
