Beach volleyball team retain world ranking
DOHA, January 30, 2020 – The Qatar's national beach volleyball team including Cherif Younousse and Ahmad Tijan retained their 13th place in the FIVB world ranking issued recently.
The Qatari team collected 4680 points after participating in 12 international and continental tournaments.
On other handball, the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) has conducted the draw ceremony of the first series of Junior's Beach Volleyball Tournament (Under 17 years) 2020 which will take place from 7-8 February at Al Gharafah playgrounds.
The event will see the participation of 8 sides, including Al Arabi, Al Shamal, Al Khor, Al Rayyan, Al Ahli, Al Sadd and Al Wakrah.
