Qatar beat Tunisia in Qatar Friendly International Handball Tournament

Doha, December 25, 2020 – Team Qatar defeated their Tunisian counterparts by 33-30 in their match on Friday at the start of the Friendly Qatar International Handball Tournament 2020, which will continue until Tuesday. Four teams: Asian champions Qatar, European champions Spain, South American champions Argentina and African runners-up Tunisia are participating in the international tournament.

The Qatari team ended the first half of the match with a four-goal lead, 18-14.

The tournament matches will continue on Sunday, with Spain and Tunisia meeting in the first match and Qatar taking on Argentina in the second match.

The third day of the event will see Argentina taking on Spain before squaring off with Tunisia on the final day, with Qatar wrapping up the event in anticipated match against Spain.
