Team Qatar athletes line up for Tokyo Olympics
Tokyo- The Qatari athletics delegation has arrived in the Japanese city of Takasaki, in preparation for the Olympic challenge "Tokyo 2020", which start on 23rd of this month, and as soon as the delegation of the of Qatar Athletics Athletes arrives in the city Taka Saki, who welcomed our athletes with all the warmth and welcome, our players started their training , which will last for two weeks, and then move to Tokyo to compete in Games competitions from the 30th of this month until eight of coming August
The Qatari athletics delegation was well received in Takasaki, led by the mayor of the city, Kenji Tomoyoka, who welcomed the establishment of our team’s camp in the city. The mayor of the city deserved the praise he received from Dr. Thani Al Kuwari, President of the Qatar Athletics Federation, who met Tomoyoka at the residence of our athletics delegation in the presence of the administrative delegation. He appreciated the facilities provided by the city for the establishment of a strong camp in the city of Takasaki, which is three hours away from Tokyo.
The training of our players witnessed great enthusiasm and readiness to participate in the Olympics after they went through a period of preparation during the past days in different camps according to each competition and according to the training programs that were developed by the technical staff, while the Takasaki camp will be the last stage of preparation and final preparation before moving on.
