DOHA – Team Qatar members have shown high shooting skills in the closing scene of the shotgun event of the ongoing fourth edition of 2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament held at the Lusail Shooting Range on Sunday.
This community tournament is organized under the patronage of the H.E Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani from 3rd to 19th of April, with the participation of more than 500 competitors in both the amateur and professional
In Sunday’s shogun closing scene, Qatar’s shooter, Mohammed Ahmed Al Rumaihi has retained his place at the top of the standings with a tally of (528 points ) , ahead of his teammates, Khalifa Ali Mohammed Abdalla Al Attiyiah in the second place (489 points) and Masaoud Saleh Al Ezbah in the third place (487 points).
In the women professional category (shotgun event), team Qatar star, Reem Al Sharshani led the standings with (488 points), Sara Gholam Ali snatched the runner-up spot (467 points ) , while the third place went to Amna Ali Al Sheerawai (449 points).
In the shogun event for men’s amateur, Bar Kifah Al Yousef claimed the first place with ( 445 points), Rashid Ghanem Al Hajiri finished in second place ( 444 points) and Hernan Fernandez clinched the third place (439 points).
No change is seen in the women’s amateur standings (shogun event), Mona Naser Faraj Al Nubi leads the standings with ( 426 points), Maha Saieed Abdulhai in the second place ( 410 points) and the third place went to Aysha Abdulhai (407 points).
This tournament aims to discover the most talented elements in the game , develop their skills and helping clubs and national teams to achieve quantum leap in the game and promoting this sport among citizens and residents whose rate of participation in the game rises sharply year by year.
