Team Qatar Archers perform impressively at Nishan Tournament

DOHA – Team Qatar stars have shone again in the Archery event of the fourth edition of 2022 Nishan Vodafone Ramadan Tournament held at the Lusail Shooting Range on Monday.

This community tournament is  organized under the patronage of  the H.E Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani from 3rd to 19th of April, with the participation of more than  500 competitors in both  the amateur and professional categories.

In Monday’s Archery competitions for professional category (Men) , Qatar’s Mohammed Ahmed Al Rumaihi has cemented his grip on  the top of the standings after lifting up his tally to (642 points ) , as his teammate  Masaoud Saleh Al Ezbah  jumped  up to the second place with  (641 points), while the third place went to Rashid Masoud Al Ezbah with ( 619 points).

On the same track of impressive performance, Qatar’s Kholud Hassan Khalaf  jumped up to the top spot of the standings of the Archery event for professional women with ( 497 points), as Reem Al Sharshani rolled back to the second place ( 488 points) and the third place went to  Ameena Mohammed Al Mansouri ( 471 points).

In  the Men’s amateur category, Qatar’s  Badr Mubarak Al Marri won the first place  in the Archery with  (606 points),  as Ali Saieed Al Marri snatched the second place (552 points) and Hamad Mohammed Saleh Al Karbi finished third ( 552 points).

In the women’s amateur category, Ahlam Mazen Abdulatif finished first with ( 391 points), Sabreen Hassan Saadoun claimed the second place ( 364 points) and the third place went to  Hala Al Heiti ( 355 points).

This  tournament aims to discover  the most talented elements in the game , develop their skills and  helping clubs and national teams to achieve quantum leap in the game and promoting  this sport among citizens and residents whose rate of participation in the game rises sharply year by year.
