Japan defeat Qatar in Asian Men Youth Handball Championship
MANAMA - Qatar men's youth handball team suffered a 31-21 defeat on Wednesday at the hands of Japan in group B game of 2022 Asian Championship currently held in Bahrain and set to run through August 31.
Wednesday’s defeat has stopped team Qatar winning run, with just four points in their tally and will shake hands with Kuwait counterparts on Friday.
The top five teams from the event will directly qualify for the 2023 IHF Men’s Youth (U19) World Championship, which will be held in Croatia in 2023.
