Al Athba, Al Sharshani claim skeet mixed team bronze medal at Asian Shooting Championship
Changwon: Qatar's Rashid Saleh Al Athba and Reem Al Sharshani secured the bronze medal in Skeet Mixed Team event at the Asian Shooting Championship in Changwon, South Korea. The Championship is held until November 2.
The first place and the gold medal were won by Indian duo Anant Naruka and Darshna Rathore after defeating Kuwaiti duo Abdullah Al Rashidi and Iman Al Shamaa in the final match with 40/37.
Rashid Saleh Al Athba also claimed the gold medal of Men's skeet event.
Al Athba's gold medal came after scoring 53/60 and was followed by South Korea's Minshu Kim, who shot 51/60. Chinese Taipei's Meng Yuan Lee won bronze with a score of 42/50.
