Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan sparkle at Joao Pessoa Elite16

Joao Pessoa: Qatar’s Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan yesterday racked up their second win in the main draw of the final Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Elite 16 event of the year, in Joao Pessoa, Brazil. 

The  Olympic  bronze  winners,  Younousse  and  Tijan,  defeated  Trevor  Crabb  and  Brunner  Theodore  2-0  (21-16,  21-16)  to  solidify  their  place  as  Pool  D  leaders  ahead  of  their  last  Pool  D  encounter  against  Brazilian  pair  Evandro  Goncalves  Junior  and  Arthur  Diego  Mariano  which  was  set  to  take  place  later  yesterday.  

The top three pairs from each of the four pools advance to the Round of 12.
