Sheikh Joaan crowns Al Arabi winners of HH the Amir Volleyball Cup
Doha, November 1, 2020-(QNA) - HE Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani crowned Al Arabi winners of HH the Amir Volleyball Cup following their 3-2 victory over Police SC on Saturday at the Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) hall.
After the match, Al Arabi won the championship cup and gold medals, as well as a cash prize of QR500,000, while the second-placed Police SC received silver medals and a prize of QR300,000.
HE QOC First Vice President Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al-Thani, HE Secretary-General of QOC Jassim Rashid Al Buenain, QVA President Ali bin Ghanem Al Kuwari, QVA's officials attended the game.
The match was tough and both teams have chances to win but Al Arabi sealed the victory in the end. (QNA)
