Qatar Asian Junior Tennis tournament concludes
The sixth Qatar Asian Junior U16 tournament was concluded at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex recently.
Qatar’s Meshari Nawaf claimed the title of boys' singles event after beating Sannghyk Han 6-0 6-2 in the final match.
Inkar Autova of Kazakhstan hoisted the trophy of girls' singles event after defeating Qatar’s Hind Al Medhiki in the final match.
Meshari Nawaf also teamed up with Ghanim Sultan to win doubles title following their 6-1 6-2 victory over Joonhyuk Han and Sanghyuk in the final match.
The medal ceremony was attended by the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation Secretary General Tariq Zainal.
Zainal congratulated the winners of the event and said the Asian Junior Tournament is an important event on the QTSBF agenda as it brings together a big number of promising Asian players in Doha.
