UAE , May 4 2018 – Qatar will know their foes in the Final Draw for the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019, which is set to be the largest version of the continental competition yet, with 24 teams going into the draw to be held in Dubai on Friday.
Qatar is seeded in Pot 2 among the 24 teams that includes India, having topped their third round qualification group consisting of Myanmar, Macau and the Kyrgyz Republic.
Hosts UAE will be the top seed in Group A. Australia are the defending champions, having won the edition in 2015.
Football lovers await the year of 2019 in the biggest continent in the world as the 2019 Asian Cup kicks off in January in the United Arab Emirates.
This will be the biggest tournament in Asian history, with 24 teams participating instead of the usual 16.
24 nations will be split into 6 groups like the 2016 Euro Cup, with 4 teams in each group fighting for the top two automatic qualification spots.
