Al-Adam Team Win AVC Beach Volleyball Qatar Master
DOHA, December 2, 2018 - Qatar's Al-Adam team won the seventh edition of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Beach Volleyball Qatar Master 2018 for second consecutive time after beating Australia 2-0 in the final. The three-day event was held at Aspire Park.
Qatar duo Ahmed Tijan and Cherif Younousse performed strongly and managed to outperform the Australian team in two sets with results 21-16, 21-18.
Following the final match, Qatar Volleyball Association (QVA) President Ali Ghanim Al Kuwari and tournament's director Mohamed Mubarak Al Kuwari honored the Qatari team with gold medals and trophies, and presented the Australian team with silver medals and Japanese team with bronze medals. The Japanese team beat Kazakhstan (2-1) 21-17, 19-21, 15-12 to finish in the third place).
