Al Nasr shines in Asian Sailing Championship
HONG KONG, March 5, 2018 – Qatar's young sailor Abdulrahman Al Nasr ended his campaign in the prestigious Asian Sailing Championship 2018 on high note, claiming the 9th place overall, following an impressive performance in the event which concluded in Hong Kong last week.
Al Naser took the ninth place ahead of 45 Asian and Olympic sailors, he also claimed the first place in one the championship's races.
Al Nasr is due to participate in the upcoming Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta under the supervision of captain Khalid Batit. Al Nasr will take part in the Europe Championship in Greece next month.
