Ambassadors and representatives of countries celebrate IAAF World Athletics Championships 2019 in Doha
DOHA, May 19, 2019 - Senior world officials including Ambassadors and representatives of countries in Doha came together to celebrate the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 to be held the first ever time in the Middle East.
The local Organizing Committee delivered an exhaustive presentation on the upcoming prestigious event in front of representatives and ambassadors of European, African, Asian countries and USA.
HE Major- General, Dahlan Al Hamad, Vice Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee and Championship Director welcomed the guests.
The foreign embassies in the state of Qatar encouraged their communities, families and friends to contribute to the success of the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships to feature the participation of 213 countries for the first time in the Middle East.
On this occasion, HE Dahlan Al Hamad, said “We want the championships to be a celebration for everyone around the world, and an opportunity for athletics fans to watch their heroes competing for the title"
