DOHA, November 08, 2017 – The Schools Olympic Program since its inaugural version has been keeping distinctive partnerships with different authorities and institutions in the country.
The prestigious event has used several logos in each year connected to a certain institution, including the sport and health, sport and education, sport and culture and sport and media.
Aspire Academy remained as one of these institutions who keeping a lasting partnership with the SOP management in each version. The Academy is using its playgrounds and Indoor halls to host all the SOP competitions and ensuring its success.
In a press release on Tuesday, Mr. Said Ali Al Marri, the Football affairs section director at the Aspire Academy confirmed that the cooperation between the Aspire and SOP is exceptional and valuable.
Al Marri underlined that SOP is classified as one of the most important sporting and educational mechanisms help unveiling the skills and talents of school students.
The SOP is held annually as a collaborative effort of Qatar School Sports Federation (QSSF) and Ministry of Education and Higher Education, with hundreds of student athletes competing from all over Qatar.
The SOP committee aims to spread a culture of sports throughout Qatar's schools and to engage the entire community in active and healthy lifestyles while retaining local values and traditions.
