Curtains come down on QSAF Shooting Cup C’ship
DOHA, October 8, 2017 - Curtains came down on the competitions of the prestigious Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation Shooting Cup Championship 2017 that saw participants from different age groups at the Losail International Shooting Complex on Saturday.
The closing day competitions saw six finals including men's rifle running target , men's rifle mixed target 70m , men's Archery 70m event , men's Olympic archery 70m event, women's running target 70m and women's rifle mixed target .
Shooter Mohammed Abdulmohsin Abo Taimah claimed double gold in the Men's running target and men's rifle mixed target. While in the men's Archery event, Mohammed Al Hassan Al Mohannadi won the gold medal.
Qatar's Amal Mahmoud sparkled to claim double gold in both women's running target and women's rifle mixed target.
In a post-event press release on Saturday , Mr. Abdullah Al Hammadi, the chairman of High Organizing Committee applauded shooters technical performance at the championship, confirmed that Qatar has promising teams able to compete in all regional and international sport events.
