Giorgi Sakandelidze takes silver medal in Asian Wrestling Championships

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan- March 5, 2018- Qatar's Giorgi Sakandelidze claimed the silver medal at the 2018 Asian Wrestling Championships which came to an end on Sunday.

In 120 KG event, Giorgi Sakandelidze defeated Natsagsürengiin Zolboo of Mongolia in the semifinals before losing to Davit Modzmanashvili of Uzbekistan in the final match.

Yousef Al Kazem, President of the Qatar Wrestling Federation congratulated the player on his achievement and said that the medal came as a fruit for federation's efforts to develop wrestling in the state of Qatar.
