Oryx wins Qatar hockey League title
DOHA, December 21, 2017 – Qatar's National Ice Hockey team (Oryx) recorded a convincing 6-1 victory over Oil Kings team to win the title of Qatar Ice Hockey League 2017 after a divisive match held at Villaggio Ice court on Tuesday.
The prestigious league came on the frame of the national team preparation for the upcoming World Junior Ice Hockey Championship 2018. The national league brought together five teams.
Qatar's national team captain, Mohammed Al Khalaf appreciated his teammates performance and said that the national team victory acts as best preparation for World Junior Ice Hockey Championship 2018.
