Qatar beach handball team off to China for Asian Championship

Bangkok, Thailand, June 12, 2019 – Qatar beach handball team concluded a productive training camp in Thailand's capital of Bangkok on Tuesday and will fly to china on Wednesday to participate in the 7^th Asian Beach Handball Championship scheduled from 15-24 June in China.

In its Thailand training camp, the team played a number of friendly matches including a match against home team which ended with 2-0 victory for Al Adaam.

It is worth mentioning that Asian Beach Handball Championship 2019 is a qualifying tournament for World Championships 2020 in Italy.

Qatar will begin Asian campaign against Philippines on June 15, followed by a second match against Indonesia on 16 June , will face Afghanistan on June 17 and China Taipei on June 19.
