Qatar beach volleyball team qualify to second round
Doha, October 14, 2019- Qatar's beach volleyball team qualified to the second round after beating USA 3-0 on Sunday at the ANOC World Beach Games.
Earlier on Saturday, Team Qatar began their campaign in the event with 2-1 victory over Indonesia.
Team Qatar were pooled in Group (A) alongside USA, Germany and Indonesia while Group (B) includes Poland, Chile, Australia and Mozambique.
Mohamed Salim Al Kuwari, Board Member of the Qatar Volleyball Association said that leading Group (A) will provide team Qatar with opportunity to reach the upcoming rounds.
Beach volleyball 4X4 is one of the 14 sports featuring at the ANOC World Beach Games to be held from October 12 to 16 in Doha.
