Qatar beach volleyball team to take on Latvia in Swatch Gstaad Major
Gstaad, July 12, 2019-Qatar's Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan will take on Latvia's Martins Plavins and Edgars Tocs in the second round of the 20th Swatch Gstaad Major on Friday.
The Qatari duo qualified to the second round after defeating Chile's Marco Grimalt and Esteban Grimalt in the first match then they clinched their second victory in Group C when they outplayed Russia's Ilya Leshukov and Konstantin Semenov 2-1.
Earlier last the week, the Qatari team participated in the 2019 FIVB World Beach Volleyball Championship where they qualified to the second round.
