Qatar defeat USA in Vienna Major
Vienna, August 02, 2019-The Qatari beach volleyball team (1) including Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan defeated Philip Dalhausser and Nicholas Lucena of USA on Thursday in the beginning of their campaign in the US$600,000 A1 Major Vienna presented by Swatch.
The winning teams will share the $40,000 first-place prizes along with collecting 1,200 qualifying points for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
It's worth mentioning that the Qatari duo of Cherif Younousse and Ahmad Tijan claimed the fourth place in the FIVB world ranking issued recently.
The Qatari duo will also participate in Moscow Tournament to begin on August 13.
