DOHA, August 9, 2018-Qatar's U23 football team concluded their preparations for the 2018 Asian Games to be staged in Indonesia.
Qatar's coach Unai Melgosa announced Qatar's 21-member squad for this month's event.
The Qatar Football Association (QFA) said that the national squad will leave for Jakarta on Thursday.
Qatar have been placed in Group B of the 2018 Asian Games. Group B also includes Thailand, Uzbekistan and Bangladesh.
All countries participating at the Asian Games will be represented by a U-23 squad with three overaged players and the top two from each group will advance to the round of 16.
Squad: Ahmed Moin, Khaled Munir, Abdul Rahman Mohammed, Hazem Ahmed, Adel Bader, Mishal Ibrahim, Hatem Kamal, Tariq Salman, Tamim Al Muhaize, Elias Ahmed, Ahmed Al Saadi, Saud Farhan, Mashaal Al Shammari, Mohammed Al Bakri, Yazen Naim, Jassim Mohammed, Marwan Sharif, Omar Al Emadi, Nasser Al Nasr, Ahmed Fadel and Mohammed Saeed.
