Qatar football team ready for Asian Games
Jakarta, August 13, 2018- The Qatari Olympic team will conclude on Monday their preparations for their first match at the 2018 Asian Games.
Qatar will clash against Thailand on Tuesday at the start of football event.
Despite of the absence of their top scorers such as Al Moez Ali, star Akram Afif, Bassam Al-Rawi and Abdullah Abdulsalam for their participation in Al Sadd and Al Duhail in the AFC Champions League, the team have the names capable of achieving satisfactory results.
The Qatari side will face Uzbekistan in their second match, which will take place on Thursday.
On the other hand, the Qatar basketball team will begin their campaign in the Asian Games on Tuesday as they will take on Hong Kong in Jakarta.
