Qatar gets ready to host World Athletics Championships 2019
DOHA, November 16, 2018 – The 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships' Organizing Committee has intensified its managerial and technical arrangements to host the prestigious event from September 27 to October 6, 2019 at Khalifa International stadium in Doha.
Mr. Dahlan Al Hamad, Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and Championships Director held a press conference on Thursday with international media bodies, attended by senior IAAF broadcasting rights officials alongside a number of working committees to highlight the last updates about the event.
During the meeting a number of vital topics related to TV and Radio broadcasting, facilities and services to will be provided by the local organizing committee and other technical and managerial issues were exhaustively discussed .
The prestigious event is expected to bringing together 3500 athlete and officials from more than 200 nations worldwide, beside 10.000 guests ad 2500 media representatives.
