Qatar lead GCC Swimming Championship in Kuwait
Kuwait, April 27, 2019- Qatar swimming team claimed the first place in age groups competitions at the 2019 GCC Swimming Championship in short course (25 meters) held in Kuwait on Friday.
Qatar clinched 27 medals including 16 gold medals, 10 silver medals and one bronze medal.
The Qatari team included Abdulaziz Al Obaidli, Yousef Al Khulaifi, Fares Al Saidi, Ahmed Samara, Mohammed Mahmoud, Omar Ashraf, Mohamed Fahd, Khaled Fahad, Karim Salah, Tamim Mohammed, Ali Al Naimi, Abdullah Ahmed, Saif Adel, Ibrahim Ahmed, Abdulrahman Al Khunji, Abdullah Al Khunji and Walid Dalloul. The Qatari delegation will be headed by Khalid Abdullah, member of the board of directors of the Qatar Swimming Association, along Ibrahim Al Rumaihi as manager of the team, coaches Nasser Al Saqiri, Omar Khadash, Anton Rodionov and Shukri Al Qafasi.
