Qatar lose to Australia in Asian Volleyball Championship
Tehran, September 14, 2019-Qatar lost to Australia 3-2 (25–23, 25–21, 23–25, 18–25, 15–10) in their first match Pool A of the Asian Men's Volleyball Championship in Iran, Tehran, on Friday.
Qatar, coached by Camilo Soto, came back strongly after losing the first to sets to tie the game at 2-2, but in the deciding fifth set, they lost their momentum and lost 10-15.
In another match in the pool, Iran blanked Sri Lanka 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-23).
Qatar take on Iran in their next match on Saturday.
