Qatar lose to Pakistan in Asian Men’s U23 Volleyball Championship
Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, August 04, 2019- The Qatari national volleyball team suffered a 0-3 defeat at the hands of their Pakistani counterparts on Saturday in the beginning of their campaign at the 2019 Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship.
On Sunday, Qatar will go up against Chinese Taipei while Pakistan will take on Bahrain which fell short of Chinese Taipei.
The event is held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar until August 11.
The Qatari team were pooled in group C alongside Chinese Taipei, Bahrain and Pakistan.
The championship also features the participation of Myanmar, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Australia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Thailand, China, India and New Zealand.
Qatar's Squad: Abdulrahman Tariq, Ali Rashed Al Kuwari, Babi Maget, Amro Jameel, Bashar Al Tamimi, Faisal Al Sayed, Mohamed Abdulrahman, Mohammed Al Waleed, Mohamed Mousa, Raouf Abu Zaid, Sultan Abdullah and Mohamed Al Naimi.
