Qatar to participate in Youth Olympic Games
DOHA, October 05, 2018-The Qatari delegation to participate in the 2018 Youth Olympic Games left Doha on Thursday.
The Games will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from October 6-18, 2018.
The Qatari delegation included Abdullah Hashem, Head of administrative delegation, Khaled Al Marri, Director of Qatar athletics team and the Olympic swimmer Nada Arkaji.
The state of Qatar will participate in two sports including athletics and swimming.
Qatar's Ahmad Al‐Haj, Awab Barou and Abdulaziz Mohammad Salim will participate in athletics competitions while Yaqoub Al Khelaifi will represent the state of Qatar in swimming competitions.
On the other hand, the media orientation meeting was held on Thursday at the main media center of the games.
The meeting focused lights on the services and the facilities to be offered to the media representatives to help them cover the event.
Moreover, the sport delegations began arriving at the athlete village in preparation for the games to get underway on Saturday.
