Qatar to play Japan in AVC Aspire Beach Volleyball Qatar Masters Semifinals
DOHA, November 30, 2018 – Qatar's duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan Janko will lock horns against Japan's Yuya Ageba and Gottsu Ishijma in the semi-final of AVC Aspire Beach Volleyball Qatar Masters 2018 in Aspire playgrounds on Friday.
It is worth mention that , the defending champions Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan Janko held their nerves to pull off a nail-biting 2-1 victory over Australia's Christopher McHugh and Zachery Schubert, and advance into the semi-final of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Aspire Beach Volleyball Qatar Master 2018.
On the same track of victory, the Japanese pair defeated Iran's Arash Vakili and Bahman Miinjehbo 21-17 and 21-11 in the other quarter-final.
The prestigious event is jointly organized by the Aspire Zone Foundation, Qatar and Asian Volleyball Federations and the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).
