Qatar shooters lead Arab Championship standings
DOHA, November 25, 2018- Qatar shooters confidently clinched the leading position at the 14th Arab Shooting Championships with total 47 medals, including 18 gold, 14 silver and 15 bronze at Losail shooting Arena on Saturday.
Oman claimed the runner-up position with total 44 medals, including 13 gold, 18 silver and 13 bronze, while the third place went to Kuwaiti shooters who got total 32 medals including 12 gold, 11 silver and 8 bronze.
In this prestigious championship shooters competed in several categories including Rifle, Pistol, Skeet, Trap and Double Trap which took place from 16-24 November.
The event brought together more than 200 shooters (men and women) representing many countries including Oman, Sudan, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco and hosts Qatar.
